There is nothing I find as revolting as spitting and snot. It really sends my gag reflex into overdrive. The amount of is I see here is disturbing.
There is a thing called Betel Nut. Users chew it and spit copious amounts of red saliva everywhere. The streets are literally stained red and the users spit everywhere. The bus, the street, from their cars, on your feet. It is one of the most revolting things to be sitting on the bus and the guy behind you spits a bucket full of red spit on the floor. Aside from how completely disgusting it is, it's bad for you too. It gives the user a buzz and is addictive. It also causes oral cancer and stains the teeth red and black. I know, I know. "It's their culture." "I should be more tolerant of other peoples cultures."
Nope. This one is really bad. For me it's the last straw. Walking down a street, the smell of sewage assaulting my senses, my chest burning from the poor air quality, trying to dodge cars crossing a street and someone spits a giant wad of red betel nut at my feet........ I'm ready to go home.
